Effective date: May 6, 2026
Developer / Publisher: Arini Indarti
Package name: `com.ariniindarti.cctvphonemodern`
This Privacy Policy explains how CCTV phone Modern ("the App") accesses, uses, handles, and shares information when you use the App on Android devices. This policy is intended to help users understand the App's privacy practices and to support Google Play policy compliance.
## 1. What CCTV phone Modern does
CCTV phone Modern is a two-phone local monitoring application for Android devices.
- One phone can act as a sender by capturing live camera video and optional microphone audio.
- Another phone can act as a viewer by connecting to the sender over the same local Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
- The App can generate and scan a pairing QR code to simplify local connection.
- The App may display advertising through Google Mobile Ads SDK.
The App is designed for local network use. It is not designed as a covert surveillance tool, and it does not require user accounts to operate.
## 2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application CCTV phone Modern and to data accessed or handled through the App.
This policy does not override the privacy practices of third-party providers such as Google, whose software development kits or services may also be used by the App. Where third-party services are involved, their own privacy policies may also apply.
## 3. Information the App accesses or handles
Depending on how you use the App, CCTV phone Modern may access or handle the following categories of information:
### A. Camera data
The App may access the device camera:
- on the sender phone to preview and transmit a live room image; and
- on the viewer phone when you choose to scan a pairing QR code.
Camera access is only available after Android permission is granted by the user.
### B. Microphone data
The App may access the device microphone on the sender phone to capture optional room audio for a live local session.
Microphone access is optional and is only available after Android permission is granted by the user.
### C. Local network and connectivity information
The App may access limited network-related information needed to establish local connections between devices, such as:
- local IP or host address resolution,
- Wi-Fi state,
- general network connectivity state, and
- the local sender address presented to the viewer device.
This information is used to enable the App's core local-network monitoring function.
### D. QR code pairing data
If you use the QR code pairing feature:
- the sender phone may generate a QR code containing local connection information; and
- the viewer phone may scan and process that QR code to connect faster.
QR code content is used only for pairing and local session setup.
### E. Advertising-related data
The App includes Google Mobile Ads SDK. When ads are requested, loaded, or displayed, Google and its partners may process certain device, app, and network information according to their own policies. This may include information such as:
- device identifiers or advertising identifiers, where available,
- IP address,
- app and device metadata,
- diagnostics, performance, and fraud-prevention information, and
- ad interaction data.
Google's privacy and advertising practices are governed by Google's own terms and policies.
### F. Temporary in-memory session data
During an active session, the App may temporarily process:
- live video frames,
- live audio buffers,
- connection state, and
- UI state required for the current session.
This processing is generally transient and supports real-time functionality.
## 4. Information the developer does not intentionally collect from users
Except as described in this policy and except for third-party SDK behavior outside the developer's direct control, the developer does not intentionally collect the following from users through CCTV phone Modern:
- account registration data,
- usernames or passwords,
- email addresses,
- phone numbers,
- contacts,
- SMS or call logs,
- precise location,
- health information,
- financial information,
- government identification numbers, or
- cloud profile information.
The App does not provide a user account system.
## 5. How the App uses information
The App uses accessed information only for the purposes of providing or supporting the features users expect from a local monitoring app, including:
- previewing and transmitting local live video,
- optionally transmitting local live audio,
- allowing another device on the same network to connect,
- generating or scanning pairing QR codes,
- presenting local session status and connection details,
- loading and displaying ads,
- maintaining app functionality, stability, and security, and
- complying with legal obligations where applicable.
## 6. When information is shared
The App may share or expose information in the following limited situations:
### A. User-initiated local sharing
When you start a sender session, the App intentionally makes the live stream and connection address available to another device on the same local network or hotspot if that device has the correct address or pairing information.
This is part of the App's core user-requested functionality.
### B. Third-party SDK providers
If the App displays ads, Google Mobile Ads SDK may receive data needed to serve, secure, measure, or limit advertising according to Google's own policies.
### C. Legal reasons
Information may be disclosed if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
### D. Business transfer
If the developer's business or the App is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
## 7. What the App does not do by default
CCTV phone Modern does not, by default:
- upload live room video or audio to a developer-controlled cloud server,
- require user registration to use the core local monitoring flow,
- store recordings or snapshots as a default feature,
- run hidden or covert capture features as the core advertised use case,
- sell personal and sensitive user data, or
- provide end-to-end encrypted cloud streaming.
## 8. Data retention
The App is designed to minimize retained user data.
- Live video, audio, and session buffers are generally handled in memory during active use.
- The App does not provide a built-in user account database.
- The App does not intentionally maintain a developer-operated cloud history of user sessions.
- If ad services are used, Google may retain data under Google's own retention practices and policies.
If you uninstall the App, Android typically removes the App's local app data from the device, subject to your device, backup, or system settings.
## 9. Data deletion
Because the App does not provide user accounts and does not intentionally maintain a developer-controlled cloud profile for users, there is generally no account-based personal data store for the developer to delete on request.
Users can:
- stop a live session at any time,
- revoke permissions in Android Settings,
- clear the App's local storage from Android Settings, and
- uninstall the App.
If the App later introduces cloud storage, accounts, or server-side retention, this policy should be updated accordingly.
## 10. Security practices
The App uses reasonable measures intended to reduce unnecessary exposure of personal and sensitive data, including:
- Android runtime permission requests before access to permission-protected data,
- foreground-visible user flows for major capture activity,
- local-only connection design for the core live stream,
- limited data handling aligned to app functionality, and
- dependency on platform and SDK security controls where applicable.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Important transparency note:
- Local streaming in this App is intended for use on trusted networks.
- The local stream may not be encrypted with HTTPS or end-to-end encryption.
- Users should avoid using untrusted or public networks for sensitive monitoring scenarios.
## 11. Permissions used by the App
The App may request or rely on the following Android permissions:
- `CAMERA`
Used for sender video and optional QR code scanning.
- `RECORD_AUDIO`
Used only for optional sender audio.
- `INTERNET`
Used for local network communication and ad loading.
- `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`
Used to determine network connectivity state.
- `ACCESS_WIFI_STATE`
Used to support local Wi-Fi-based connection flow.
Permissions should only be granted if you want to use the related feature.
## 12. Advertising and third-party services
The App includes Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google may process certain information when ads are requested or displayed. For more information, review:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
The App may also use Google ML Kit barcode scanning functionality to support QR code scanning. QR scanning is used to facilitate local pairing and connection workflows.
## 13. Children's privacy and family use
CCTV phone Modern is not represented as a covert surveillance product. If the App is used in a household or family environment, users remain responsible for complying with all applicable laws, consent requirements, notice obligations, and platform rules.
The developer does not intentionally create user accounts for children or knowingly collect personal information directly from children through an account system in this App.
## 14. International data transfers
The developer does not intentionally operate a cloud backend for the App's core local monitoring flow. However, third-party service providers such as Google may process data on servers located in multiple countries according to their own privacy policies.
## 15. Your choices
You can control your privacy by:
- choosing whether to start a sender or viewer session,
- choosing whether to enable microphone use,
- deciding whether to scan a pairing QR code,
- disconnecting local sessions when you no longer need them,
- revoking Android permissions,
- clearing app data, and
- uninstalling the App.
Ad controls may also be available through your device, Google account, or region-specific consent interfaces, depending on your jurisdiction and device configuration.
## 16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or Google Play policy requirements.
If material changes are made, the updated version should be published with a new effective date.
