Arini Indarti (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates PromoAI: AI Image Maker (“PromoAI” or “the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our App.

By using PromoAI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information depending on how you use the App:

Account and Authentication Information

When you first use the App, we may create a Firebase anonymous user ID. If you choose to sign in with Google, we may collect your Google account email address, display name, Firebase user ID, and account linking status.

App Usage and Account Data

We may collect and store information related to your credit balance, free credit status, subscription or plan status, Pro access, lifetime access, purchase verification status, generation history, selected category, style, size, quality, generation mode, and timestamps.

User Content

We may collect the text prompts you enter, editing instructions, images you choose to upload for AI image editing, AI-generated images, and reports or feedback you submit.

Selected Photos and Local Device Storage

When you use the image editing feature, the App accesses only the image you explicitly select through the Android photo picker. When you download or share an image, a local copy may be saved or temporarily created on your device.

The App does not request broad access to your contacts, microphone, or precise location.

Purchase and Billing Information

We may collect product IDs, purchase tokens, subscription status, and purchase verification results. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Google Play.

Analytics and Technical Information

We may use Firebase Analytics and related Google services to collect app usage data, device information, performance data, crash or diagnostic information, and server logs related to authentication, AI generation, storage, billing, and security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • create and maintain your account;
  • provide free starter credits;
  • authenticate users and link accounts when Google Sign-In is used;
  • generate AI images from prompts;
  • edit uploaded images using AI;
  • store and display your image generation history;
  • upload, store, and retrieve generated images;
  • verify purchases, apply credits, restore purchases, and manage subscriptions or lifetime access;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access;
  • investigate reports submitted by users;
  • improve app performance, reliability, and user experience;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

3. AI Processing

PromoAI uses third-party cloud services, including Google Gemini image generation services, to generate and edit images using AI.

When you submit a prompt or upload an image for editing, your prompt, editing instruction, selected settings, and uploaded image may be processed by our backend and sent to supported AI service providers.

Generated images may be stored in Firebase Storage and indexed in Firebase Firestore so they can appear in your result screen and history.

AI-generated content may not always be accurate, suitable, or free from unexpected artifacts. Users are responsible for reviewing and using generated content appropriately.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate the App, including:

  • Google Firebase Authentication;
  • Google Firebase Firestore;
  • Google Firebase Storage;
  • Google Firebase Functions;
  • Google Play Billing;
  • Google Gemini image generation services;
  • Firebase Analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or integrity of PromoAI.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and for legitimate business, security, billing, legal, and operational purposes.

For example:

  • account data may be retained while your account remains active;
  • generation history, prompts, uploaded images, and generated images may be retained so history and result features can function;
  • purchase verification records may be retained to prevent duplicate grants and manage subscriptions or lifetime access;
  • analytics and diagnostic data may be retained according to Google and Firebase retention settings.

When data is no longer needed, we may delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at:

Please include the app name PromoAI: AI Image Maker and, if possible, your Firebase user ID or the Google email linked to your account.

Please note that we may need to retain certain records where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal compliance, billing reconciliation, or dispute resolution. Deleting your account may remove access to credits, purchase records, subscriptions, saved history, and AI-generated outputs associated with that account.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect your information. These may include authenticated access controls, Firebase security rules, backend verification for sensitive operations, and encrypted network transmission where supported.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

PromoAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in countries other than your own, including through Google and Firebase infrastructure.

By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Your Choices

Depending on how you use the App, you may:

  • use the App with an anonymous account for initial access;
  • sign in with Google to save credits, purchases, and subscription access across devices;
  • choose whether to upload an image for AI editing;
  • download or share generated images;
  • uninstall the App at any time;
  • request account or data deletion by contacting us.

Some features, such as purchase restoration or cross-device entitlement recovery, may require Google Sign-In.

PromoAI relies on third-party platforms and services. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
