Walkie Talkie via bluetooth is designed to let users create or join nearby voice rooms and communicate using push-to-talk functionality. The App also displays ads using Google AdMob.
We aim to limit data use to what is necessary for the App's core features, advertising, security, and legal compliance.
## 2. Information We Access, Process, Collect, and Share
Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be accessed, processed, collected, or shared:
### A. Microphone Audio
- The App accesses your device microphone when you press and hold the talk button.
- Voice audio is used to transmit your speech to other nearby participants in the active room.
- We do **not** operate our own cloud audio storage for this App.

The App processes room-related information needed to create, discover, join, and manage sessions, including:
- room name
- host name
- participant display name
- optional room PIN
- participant status
- session status
- temporary activity log entries shown in the user interface
This information may be exchanged directly between nearby devices participating in the session.
### C. Nearby Device and Connection Data
To discover and connect nearby devices, the App uses Android and Google Play services features such as:
- Bluetooth scanning
- Bluetooth connection
- Bluetooth advertising
- nearby Wi-Fi device capabilities
This may involve processing device and connection information necessary to establish and maintain nearby sessions.
### D. Local App Preferences
The App stores limited local preferences on your device, such as:
- whether onboarding has already been completed
This information is stored locally on the device using standard Android app storage.
### E. Advertising and Third-Party SDK Data
The App uses **Google AdMob** to display banner, native, and interstitial ads.
According to Google's documentation for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK may automatically collect and share certain data, including:
- IP address
- device and account identifiers, such as advertising identifiers
- diagnostic information
- user product interaction data related to ads and app interaction
This data may be used by Google and its partners for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service performance.
